01 · Recording
Start it and forget it.
You start recording once; Falline does the rest. Your phone stays in your pocket.
Runs and lifts, split automatically
From speed, altitude and the resort's lift lines it works out when you are skiing, riding a lift or waiting in line.
Keeps going with the app closed
Close the app or lock the phone: recording carries on in the background.
On the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island
Speed, vertical and run count on a Live Activity. Pause without unlocking.
Battery mode
Cold drains batteries fast. Battery mode simplifies the screen and measures less often; it turns on by itself at 20%.

02 · Watch
Your watch does the recording.
Apple Watch and Wear OS. With a watch on, the watch records and the phone rests in your pocket.
Heart rate too
Next to speed and runs, the watch adds your heart rate to the day.
Complications and Smart Stack
Recording time on your watch face. Wear OS gets a tile and a complication.
No watch? The phone records
A watch is not required. Without one, the phone records exactly the same way.

03 · Group & radio
Your crew, on the same mountain.
Make a group with your friends. While you record, everyone is on the map and one button away.
Friends on the map
Who is on which slope, who is on which lift. Your location is shared only while you record, and only with your group.
Push-to-talk radio room
Hold, talk, release. Works from the Lock Screen too, no need to take your gloves off.
Nudge: “WHERE ARE YOU?”
Lost your crew? Nudge a friend with one tap and drop a meeting point.

04 · Safety
If you go down, you are not alone.
It detects a hard fall, asks if you are OK and tells people if you do not answer.
Fall detection with a countdown
An “Are you OK?” screen opens. If you do not answer, a call for help goes out when the countdown ends. The SOS button is always at hand.
Friends nearby are told
The call goes with your location to your friends and, if you allow it, to Falline riders at the same resort. You see who is on the way.
The right number for the country
The local mountain rescue line and 112 in one tap. For example 140 in Austria, 1414 in Switzerland.
Falline is not an emergency service. In an emergency, call the official emergency number.

05 · Map & resorts
See the mountain before you ride it.
Slopes, lifts and weather of ski resorts around the world on one map.

Slopes and lifts on the mountain in three dimensions. Panorama view at selected resorts.

Offline map
No signal up there? Fine. The resort's map stays on your phone.
Season opening countdown
See how many days are left until your favourite resort opens.

06 · End of day & awards
Every day gets a story.
When you stop, the day sums itself up: how many runs, how many metres, your fastest moment.
Day summary and speed heat map
Every run on the map, coloured by speed. Skiing, lifts, lines and breaks apart on a timeline.
Badges
Vertical, speed, exploring and streak badges. Each tier is harder than the last.
Rankings and the “King” title
Top a resort's table and take the title. If someone is catching up, you get a “throne is shaking” warning.

FAQ
Questions
How much battery does it use?
Our target is at most 60% of the battery over an 8-hour ski day. Batteries drain faster in the cold; at 20% battery mode turns on by itself and the screen gets simpler. With a watch on, the watch records and the phone works less.
Do I need a watch?
No. With a watch on, the watch records and adds your heart rate; without one, the same recording happens on the phone.
Who sees my location?
Your live location is shared only while you record, and only with the groups you are in; you can turn it off for each group. Live locations are not stored on the server. When you call for help, your location goes to the people the call is sent to.
Is it free?
Downloading and using Falline is free. If a paid feature comes later, it will be stated clearly in the app and on the store page.
Which resorts are there?
Maps of ski resorts around the world come from OpenStreetMap and OpenSkiMap data; if yours is missing, tell us. Panorama and some details are available at selected resorts.
Does it work without internet?
Yes. Recording works offline and the data is sent when you are connected again. Download a resort's map beforehand and it opens offline on the mountain.
How do I delete my account?
In the app: Profile › Settings › Account and my data › Delete account and all data. Your account and all your data are deleted right away. Step by step on the account deletion page.
Does fall detection catch every fall?
No. It may miss an accident or raise a false alarm; it depends on the phone's sensors and the mobile network. Falline is not an emergency service. In an emergency, call the official emergency number.
